Applications are now being accepted for regular full-time work with the Public Works Department. The position reports to the Public Works Operations Supervisor and requires the applicant to maintain a high level of personal integrity while providing fast, friendly and effective customer service. Proficiency with various tools and equipment including hand, electric and gas tools, as well as large equipment including trucks, backhoes and excavators is required. Applicant must possess a valid state of Washington driver's license (CDL required, or obtain within 6 months) with a driving record free of any significant moving violations.
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar construction field of sufficient length of time to prove competency in the skill areas is required. Applicant will be required to pass a background check and drug test.
