Due to Governor Inslee’s proclamation in response to COVID-19, this City Council meeting will be conducted entirely through teleconference. D. COUNCIL ACTION ITEMS
1. Considering an emergency order on public meeting formats in consideration of the Open Public Meetings Act waiver and Washington’s Safe Start reopening phases. (Jones)
2. Ordinance 20-2941, to Approve the Grandis Pond on the 49th Parallel Preliminary Plat; the Grandis Pond Planned Unit Development Modification; and the Grandis Pond Boundary Line Adjustment. (Pratschner)
3. Resolution 1822-20, Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Blaine and the Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 21 for Fire Marshal Services. (Pratschner)
4. Granting the City Manager authority to enter into a purchase and sale agreement for 665 Peace Portal Drive – or – Directing the City Manager to arrange for potential buyers to present offers to the City Council at the July 27, 2020 regular meeting. (Jones) Action will be taken after the Executive Session.
