The Public Works Department is responsible for:
- Operation and maintenance of all City utilities
- Repair and maintenance of streets and public facilities
- Support for civic functions and special events
- Participate regularly in community enhancement projects and activities
Administration
The Public Works Administration Division provides administrative leadership and engineering services for the utilities and supports other City departments. This includes:
- Budget oversight
- Utility rate and revenue analysis
- Capital project planning and funding development
- Regulatory compliance assurance
- Construction and service contract administration
- Programmatic goal setting and performance evaluation
